It's looking a lot like Christmas

It has been a really busy time around the Fennell household. We are gradually getting everything unpacked and put away where it needs to be. I finally got the tree put up on Wednesday and we got it decorated yesterday. Rylee loved helping with it. There are ornaments that are on the same branch and there are some ornaments that are right beside each other. That is ok though because these days will not last forever. She is growing up way to fast and Caleb is not far behind.
Caleb went for his 2 month check up on Tuesday. He weighs in at a big 13.1 lbs and is 24 1/2 long. He is cooing and smiling all the time. I could just sit there and hold him all day listening to him. He is holding his head up very well. I have been occasionaly sitting him in the bumbo seat and he is doing great. He is starting to like his baths more now.
Rylee is keeping us hopping as well that is for sure. It seems like everytime you turn around she is doing something crazy or whatever. Yesterday I came in from outside and she had been playing with her Woody doll from Toy Story. She was taking a nap and I looked down in the floor of the living room and she had taken one of her boots and placed it on Woody's foot. It was so cute. Then she woke up from her nap and she came in the living room and was sitting in her rocking chair holding her baby doll watching tv. I came in there and noticed she had her shirt up and her baby doll up to her chest "nursing it". She looked at me and said "I milk". I couldn't help but chuckle to myself. She is watching every move I make. She also was holding Caleb one day and she raised her shirt trying to nurse him as well. While putting up the tree she kept saying oh pretty. It is so neat to watch her excitement. It reminds me of how accustomed we get and forget to be like a child at times like these.
Well I guess I better get off for tonight.
I was going to put some pictures on here but the internet is slow down here and wouldn't upload them.

Lots to be thankful for...

Time is flying by and I have not made the time to update the blog for a long time, so I will try to bring it up to today. I will first start off by saying that 6 1/2 weeks ago we welcomed a beautiful baby boy into our lives. Caleb James Fennell. 8lbs 8.5 oz., 18 inches long. He was born on October 3, 2011. Rylee is head over heels about him and just loves to be around him.

Second of all we moved to Harlan County on November 5, 2011. Josh accepted the ministry postion at Loyall Church of Christ. We are very excited about this endeavor and are ready to serve the Lord in another capacity of our lives. We love the house that we are living in as well. It is beautiful.

We actually get to spend Thanksgiving with both of our families this year. We are at my parents this weekend and at Josh's parents next week. It truly is a blessing to have families that love us and support us in every way possible.

This is about all I have to say for tonight, here are some pictures of the last couple of months. I will try to update sooner especially for my Louisville friends whom we love and miss dearly.
The pictures are all out of order but I will try to do better next time. Thank you for letting me share with you all.

Very Overdue Entry

Ok so I think I am busy with one child, I can't imagine what it will be like with two. Since my last post all kinds of things have happened. I am now starting my 28th week of pregnancy. Had a doctor's appointment this past Thursday. Everything is looking great. Baby is growing and the heartbeat was in the 140's. We are having a boy and we are not totally convinced but his name will probably Caleb James but not so sure yet. Josh was finally able to feel him move for the first time last night. We are getting very excited and cannot wait to finally meet him in just a short time more. We celbrated Rylee's 2nd birthday in April and I sure can't believe how fast the time has flew by. She is learning lots at the day care some good and some bad. She really does enjoy hanging out with her buddies though that is for sure. This past week has been very exciting. Last weekend her and I went home to my parents and spent 4 days with them. We went to one of my mom's friends pools and had a blast swimming. Rylee even went off the diving board. Josh took her to the zoo on Wednesday and then today she had daddy time while playing outside with her "new" car and tricycle. (thanks to Jay and Lucille). To end the day out we went to Cole's 2nd birthday party and I do believe she had a great time with all of her friends. Well I don't want to bore you so I will call it a night. Have a great weekend everyone and enjoy the pictures.

Very Blessed

Well all I can say is that these past 2 days have been absolutely beautiful. We have had 70 plus degree weather and we have got lots of playing time outside in. Yesterday we didn't get to play out very much because it seemed like we were on the road all day, but today we played outside forever. Yesterday was so busy. I had a doctors appointment yesterday morning. I am 11 weeks pregnant now. We had a little scare but everything turned out just fine. When the doctor tried finding the babies heartbeat with the doppler monitor, she could not find one (boy was Josh and I getting nervous) but she sent us to ultrasound and she found one right off. The babies heartbeat was 163 bpm. Rylee also had a doctors appointment to get her ears rechecked but they went ahead and done her 2 year well check as well. She got a clean bill of health for once since probably this time last year and she doesn't have to be seen again til she is 3 (April 2012) I told her doctor that I don't really remember the last time that we got to leave her office without a prescription for some kind of antibiotic.
For the last 2 weeks we have been watching Slade and Max for Nathan and Jennifer. Boy is it crazy around here with three of them. We have lots of fun though that is for sure. Most of the days that they have been here have been either too cold or rainy outside, so today we took advantage of the weather and went outside. They got here really early so Rylee was awake before them so she ate her breakfast and went on out to play. Then Slade woke up and Max didn't wake up until after 12 so he didn't get to go out but he wasn't feeling well either so he just kind of relaxed and watched some tv.
On another note I cannot believe how much Rylee is saying now. She said car, clock, alright (thank you Cole :), made the motions for a monkey and all kinds of other things this week. She is just growing up way to fast. Well I better go for now. Here are some pictures from the past 2 weeks. We sure have enjoyed having the boys here with us.

What a week

Since my last post lots of things have been going on. Last weekend I got to spend it with my parents, my sister and her two kiddos. Then Josh ended up pulling a double shift on Saturday night and worked 16 hours, but managed to come home and go to church with us but when he come home and ate lunch he crashed. My sister, mom and I had some fun playing on the WII Fit. We had more than fun we had a blast. (I should of taken pictures but I forgot too.) Rylee and Kailie played on Saturday together while daddy took Carson to the Farm Machinery Show. On Sunday they left and then my mother in law came and spent the night with us. Rylee sure did enjoy her grandparents time this weekend. For the past month Rylee has been waking up at 4:30 in the morning but I think maybe we have got out of that habit hopefully. On Wednesday Rylee went to spend the day with Erin and Cole while Josh had an interview for a seargent's position at the prison. Then on Thursday we went to the doctor's office and found out we have another (suprise) ear infection. More antibiotics and a vistit in 3 weeks. Then we had fun that night with Slade and Max at Slade's 2nd birthday party. Well that is about enough for now. I am going to try to get this house cleaned up today because my parents are coming back up tommorow to celebrate my birthday with me. Here are some pictures from the past weekend. Enjoy. Have a great day everyone.

The joys of pottying with your cousin. Kailie uses the potty but Rylee would sit in there for company. Grandma let them read books while using the potty. Sweet memories.

Needs to Get Motivated

Well I should start off saying that I went to the doctor today for my official first visit. Baby looks great. They did the ultrasound and the baby is measuring around 1/4 of an inch and the heartbeat was 133bpm. We are so excited and can't wait for October to roll around.

I can say that I have a very tired little girl who will be going to bed soon so I can get the house cleaned. My parents and my niece and nephew are coming up this weekend. Daddy is taking my nephew to the Farm Machinery Show and my mom is staying here at the house with my niece and us. My niece is exactly one week older than Rylee. April of 2009 was an interesting month to say the least. We are very excited that they are coming up. We haven't seen them since the week before Christmas. :( We are going to play til our hearts burst. Then for supper they are taking me out to eat for an early birthday dinner.

Tommorow we are having a play date with some friends who live near us. Audrey will be 3 in June and her and Rylee really like to play together. She also has a sister who turned a year old in January. Then we are going to have pizza for lunch.

Well I better call it quits for the night if I am going to get this house cleaned up. Have a good night everyone.

Crazy things are happening

There are many things happening here in our household right now. I won't go into detail because it is just something I need to have prayers for. The good news is we are expecting our 2nd child in October and we are very excited. I go to the doctor on Thursday. We had a great weekend. I have only been working 2 days a week, so I have been off from Thursday to Monday. It is nice in some ways but kind of tough on the checkbook in other ways. It was beautiful on Sunday. We played outside and if I can figure out how to upload pictures on here I will add some. Rylee also went "peepee" in the big girl potty chair. Yay. We did a dance and she even chocolate milk afterwards. Monday's are for Josh to have class so we see him of a morning but the rest of the day he is in school. We don't really celebrate Valentine's Day but I did make him his favorite meal which is Chicken Pot Pie. Homemade I might add. It was delicious if I should say so myself. Today I worked but when I got home I was greeted with 2 smiling faces which made my day. I am getting ready to head to the grocery store so I better get off here. But that was my weekend. Have a great afternoon everyone.

New to the Blogging World

Ok... So I have kept up with Erin and Murray, Liz and Walker and then I even noticed that Jennifer started working on her blog this week and I thought man this looks like a lot of fun. I have decided to try the blogging world out. We will see how it goes. To start off today's post I will say that it seems like the last few days have been absolutely wild for me. From Josh working 24 hours with just 5 1/2 hours of sleep, to Chuckee Cheese with friends to getting our taxes filed today, it seems like all I have done this week is run. Poor Rylee not that we didn't have fun yesterday with our friends but I thinks I buckled and unbuckled her in her carseat over 14 times throughout the whole day. Today we went to WalMart and Rylee seen the Valentine's Day balloons and immediately she started yelling "look, look at that". I believe you could have heard her all over that store. So she ended up getting a balloon and she has tried to eat lunch and supper with it, take a nap with it and even take her bath with it tonight. She loves that balloon and it goes everywhere with her. Well I am waiting on Josh to get home from work and this house is an absolute wreck so I guess I will call it a night but welcome to our families blog. I hope you will enjoy our adventures.
